A Night to Remember: Judging the Miss DC USA Pageant

This past weekend was nothing short of extraordinary. I had the honor of serving as a judge for the Miss DC USA pageant. 👑✨

The evening was filled with incredible talent, grace, and ambition as contestants from across the District of Columbia took the stage. From elegant evening gowns to inspiring interviews, each participant showcased not only their beauty but also their passion, determination, and commitment to making a difference in their communities.

There is a celebrated sense of style, entrepreneurial experience, and deep commitment to community leadership among the judges table. I joined the incredible panel alongside Axel Emilio Vasquez Constance (Founder of Axel Makeup Academy), Diamond Pearl (Diamond Pearl Cosmetics) , and Mia Jones (Former Miss and Miss Teen Delaware)

Of course, the highlight of the evening was the crowning of the new titleholders. A heartfelt congratulations to Miss DC USA 2025 Allison Laforce, and Miss DC Teen USA 2025, Sarah Eyasu. Their poise and presence were truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the year ahead. 💐👏🇺🇸

I would personal celebrate every contestant who had the courage to step onto that stage. Each woman represented the very best of determination, empowerment, and confidence — qualities that define the spirit of Miss DC USA.

For me, being part of such an empowering evening was both an honor and a reminder of why we continue to support and uplift each other.
